What with the last site not earning me much and spending so much time building a business rather than actually earning much revenue, I’m a little destitute right now. I even can’t afford a laptop.
In the meantime, in order to provide better services to Redmond team, some organizational changes are made on Windows Live China. Peter who hired me nine months ago is not my manager any longer. Tony Yip, my new manager, is a strict man and I have to say I am so weak compare with other MS guys. I am not ready for the new challenge.
I just remembered when I was in college days, JiLiang and I always cut class and read books in the room. Sometimes, we discussed many interesting things. And now, look at those who still study at school. Time really files fast.
Just want to share this quote from Douglas MacArthur:
People grow old only by deserting their ideals. Years may wrinkle the skin, but to give up interest wrinkles the soul. You are as young as your faith, as old as your doubt; as young as your self-confidence, as old as your fear; as young as your hope as old as your despair. In the central place of every heart there is a recording chamber. So long as it receives messages of beauty, hope, cheer and courage, so long are you young. When your heart is covered with the snows of pessimism and the ice of cynicism, then, and then only, are you grown old. And then, indeed as the ballad says, you just fade away.
